Omar Robinson

     Graveside services for Omar P. Robinson. 87, of Nampa, who died Tuesday. July 14, at the Nampa hospital, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
    The Rev. Donald R. Gibbard, associate pastor of the Nampa First Christian Church, will officiate with Masonic rites by the Ashlar Lodge No. 90 AF&AM, Nampa, under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
    Mr. Robinson was born May 23, 1900, at Defiance. Iowa, to Charles and Maggie Robinson.  He moved with his parents in 1905 to Thomas, Okla., where he was reared and educated.
    He married Frankie Barton in Oklahoma.
    He farmed in Oklahoma and in 1940 moved to Nampa, where he farmed south of Nampa until his retirement.
    He was a member of the Thomas Masonic Lodge No. 265 AF&AM.
    He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Isaiah and Patricia Robinson of Kennewick, Wash; a sister, Dessa Johnson of Nampa; a brother, Charles Robinson of Thomas; a grandson; two granddaughters; two stepgrandsons; two step-granddaughters; and eight great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
    Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, C/O Mrs. Bert Stone, memorial chairman, 1643 Park Ave., Nampa, 83651; or flowers may be sent.
