Roland Pullin

     Roland E. Pullin, 71, of Nampa, died Friday in a Nampa hospital of natural causes.  Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Hillcrest Cemetery, Caldwell.  Reverend Kenneth Britt will officiate.  Services are under direction of Alsip Funeral Chapel.
    Roland was born May 7, 1923, in El Dorado Springs, Missouri to Marie Conner and James Pullin.  He grew up in the El Dorado Springs area until the early 1960s when he and his family moved to Kimberly, Idaho.
    He moved to Nampa in 1967 and worked at various agricultural businesses.  He married Mildred Hlavacek September 11, 1943 in El Dorado Springs.
    Roland was a loving husband and father.  He also enjoyed fishing with his wife and friends.
    He is survived by his wife, Mildred of Nampa; a son and daughter-in-law, Edgar and Annette Pullin of Middleton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Evelyn and Ron Wood of Drexel, Missouri, and Doris and Bob Brown of Twin Falls; a son Gary Pullin of Nampa, a sister, Juanita Ferguson of Vancouver, Wash.; 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, and a nephew Ted Ferguson.
    Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 5386, Boise, Idaho 83705.
    Friends may call at Alsip Funeral Chapel today from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until noon.
