Richard Richesin

Graveside services for Richard "Dick" Richesin, 74, of Phoenix, Ariz., and formerly of Caldwell, who died Friday, Jan. 8, 1988, at a Phoenix hospital, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.  The Rev. Pete Hanold, pastor of the Nampa Church of Christ, will officiate.  Services are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
    Mr. Richard "Dick" Richesin was born on May 25, 1913, at Omaha, Ark., to William and Zella Richesin.  He was reared and educated in Arkansas and Missouri.  In 1935 he moved to Alaska and worked as an engineer.  He entered the U.S. Army and served during World War II.  After being discharged he lived in California and owned several different gas stations. 
    In 1963 he moved to Caldwell and began to farm until 1982 when he retired and moved to Phoenix.
    He was a member of the Church of Christ.
    He is survived by four brothers, Tom and Bob Richesin of Phoenix, Guy Richesin of Fresno, Calif., and Fred Richesin of Omaha; two sisters, Helen Albright of Medford, Ore., and Vita Brown of Upland, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
