Thomas Richesin

Thomas J. Richesin, 86, of Fruitland, Idaho, died Sunday June 11, 1995, at the home of his brother in Nyssa, Oregon.  Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, 1995, at Hillcrest Memorial Garden, Caldwell, Idaho.  Services are under the direction of Nyssa's Lienkaemper Chapel.
    Thomas was born September 6, 1908, in Arkansas, the son of William C. and Zella Lair Richesin.  He was raised in Arkansas until his family moved to California.  He later joined the U.S. Army, during World War II, on October 24, 1942, and served until October 20, 1945.  While in the service he received the Purple Heart Medal.  Following the service he later moved to the Caldwell-Parma area where he farmed for 15 years until his retirement.  He moved to Arizona before moving to Fruitland where he has since resided.
    He is survived by his two sister, Helen Albright of Medford, Oregon and Vita Brown of Los Angeles, California; three brothers, Fred Richesin of Omaha, Arkansas, Bob Richesin of Nyssa, Oregon and Billy G. Richesin of Fresno, California; eighteen nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call at Nyssa's Lienkaemper Chapel Tuesday evening, June 13, 1995, from 6 until 8 p.m.
