CALDWELL — Graveside services for Harry Sackett, 86, Ventura,
Calif., formerly of Caldwell, who died Saturday at a Ventura
hospital, will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Canyon
Hill Cemetery by David Pierson of the Caldwell First Baptist
Church. Those attending are asked to
meet at Dakan Chapel prior to 3:30 to proceed to the cemetery
in a group. Mr. Sackett was born Dec.
23, 1888 at Homer, Mich. He was clerk of Malheur County for 36
years before coming to Caldwell. He was married to Iva
Randolph who died in 1970 at Caldwell. He was a veteran
World War I and a member the Boise Masonic Lodge and the
American Legion. Surviving are a
daughter, Lillian Greene of Ventura; a son, Everett Cooper of
Yakima, Wash.; Lucille Randolph, Caldwell, a sister-in-law; a
niece, Marjorie Linder, Weiser; and two nephews, Weaver
Randolph, Idaho Falls, and Chuck Randolph, Caldwell. |
