Albert Adler

     Albert Dietrich Adler, 89, 0f Caldwell, died Monday, Dec. 9th, 1991.
     Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 12, 1991, at 11 a.m. at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.  Rev. Ray Thompson of the United Methodist Church of Caldwell will officiate.  Internment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Garden.
     Mr. Adler was born February 5th, 1902, at Cook, Johnson County, Nebraska, son of John von Christian and Margareteget Tuetken Adler.  He moved with his family to Morrison, Oklahoma, in 1904.  He farmed in the area until 1950  The family moved to Nampa, Idaho, and farmed until his retirement in 1967.  He raised wheat and corn in Okla. and sugar beets and alfalfa in Idaho.
     He married Delila Ekhoff in 1926.  They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary July 31, 1991.  He was a wonderful father and loved his family more than anything.
     He is survived by his wife, Delila of Caldwell;  son Robert and daughter-in-law Earlene Adler;  son Edward and daughter-in-law Ina Adler;  son Terry and daughter-in-law Janice Adler;  daughter Betty and son-in-law Ron Tollman, all of Caldwell; son Harold and daughter-in-law Betty Adler of Payette; son Jim and daughter-in-law Alba Adler of Nampa;  daughter -in-law Deanna of Paradise Valley, Nev.;  21 grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
     He was preceded in death by Lonny, a son, in 1984, husband of Deanna Adler.
     The family suggests that memorials may be sent to Mountain States Tumor Institute or flowers sent.
