Alice Ethyl Baxter

    CALDWELL - Services for Alice Ethyl Baxter, 82, Nampa Route 5, who died at a Nampa nursing home Tuesday, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.  Rev. David R. Kinman, Middleton Methodist Church, will officiate.  Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery.
    She was born Aug. 24, 1893, at Kirk, Colo.  She moved to Middleton with her parents in 1905 and attended schools in Middleton.  She attended the College of Idaho.  She married William J. Baxter in August of 1922.  The couple moved to River Ranch in Notus in 1927 and lived there until 1947, when they moved to Adrian. Ore.  They lived in Adrian until 1960, when she moved to Nampa.  She taught school in Bryan. Barber, Fruitland, Notus and Adrian.  She was a member of the Middleton Methodist Church.
    Surviving are her husband, Nampa; three sons, Gene Caldwell, W.D., Kennewick, Wash., and Dwain, Boise; one brother, Harlan Kline, Roseburg. Ore.; and three sisters, Marie Baxter, Springfield, Ore., Viola Hawkins, Denver, Colo., and Martha Tucker, Grand Lake. Colo.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
