NAMPA - Services for
Albert Edward Bevan, 67, of Caldwell Route 4, who died at a
Nampa hospital Friday, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at
the Alsip Funeral Chapel. The Rev. John Bullock of the
Marsing Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Interment
will be in Hillcrest Memorial Garden with Ashley Lodge No. 90
AF&AM in charge of graveside rites.
Mr. Bevan was born Jan. 21, 1892 in Salt Lake City,
Utah, and came to Nampa in 1904. He married Bertia
Lovejoy, at Pocatello on Sept. 25, 1915.
He was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad from 1915
until his retirement in 1943. He had also farmed in the
Caldwell area from 1935 until ill health forced his retirement
in 1956.
He was a member of Fidelity Lodge No. 80, AF&AM of
Glenns Ferry and of the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bertia Bevan,
Caldwell; five sons, Albert E. Bevan stationed at Paris
Island, S. C.; Clide Bevan of Nampa, Eugene and Jimmy
Bevan, both of Caldwell and Wesley Bevan of Marsing;
three daughters, Mrs. Marjory Fritz of Eagle, Mrs. Helen Clay,
Boise, Mrs. Betty Pilgion, King Hill; 18 grandchildren;
a brother, Maurice Bevan of Los Angeles, Calif. |
