Donaldson, 49, of Nampa, died Wednesday, October 13, 1993, at
her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October
16, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell. Pastor
Michael Howard of the Church of the Open Door, Nampa, will
officiate. Services are under the direction of Dakan
Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Alberta was born July 28, 1944, at Caldwell, the daughter of
Dorothy and Gerald Mason. She was raised and educated in
Caldwell. Alberta married Tom Heck and three children
were born to this marriage, Burton, Darrell and Lesa.
Alberta and Tom were later divorced. She married Dale
Donaldson and her fourth child, Angel, was born to them.
Alberta was a great little sister, a loving mother and a
super friend. She loved going out for dinner and was
always in good spirits. She loved life, was a hard
worker and received great deal of joy in being a good
friend. She faced each day with a smile and positive
attitude and spent much of her time doing for others.
Even though most of her time was spent working and providing
for her family, Alberta always found time for loved ones and
friends. As with her fight with caner, she approached
life with courage and a smile. Alberta's beautiful smile
will live on in our hears and never will be forgotten.
Alberta is survived by two sons, Burton Heck of Nampa and
Darrell Heck of Caldwell; two daughters, Lesa and her husband,
Tim Bowen and their children, Kimberly, Eric, Cason and Linsey
of Middleton, and Angel and her husband, Curtis Nilson of
Nampa; her mother, Dorothy Mason of Caldwell; an uncle, Herb
Mason of Caldwell; two sisters, Donna Brock and Caroline
Mefford of Nampa; several nieces and nephews; and many
Alberta's family will greet their friends at Dakan Chapel in
Caldwell from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
