Graveside services for Arland
Omer Erlandson, 65, Caldwell, who died Nov. 21 at his home of
naural causes, were held Nov. 23 at Hillcrest Memorial
Gardens, Caldwell.
The Rev. David C. Quail of the Grace
Lutheran Church,
Caldwell,
officiated.
Mr. Erlandson was born May 2, 1919 in St. Paul,
Minn. To Albert S. and
Josephine O. Erlandson. He was reared and educated in Binford,
N.D. and joined the U.S. Army there. He served in Germany
under Gen. George Patton.
After his discharge he taught school and later moved to
Tacoma, Wash., where he worked for the railroad. He moved to
Caldwell in December of 1974, where he has since resided.
He married Ann Thai on Aug. 31, 1972 in Saigon where he
was working on a Morrison-Knudsen project.
He is survived by his wife of Caldwell; seven children,
and three stepchildren; 10 grandchildren; two sisters,
Adelaide H. Ingram of Wheaton, Ill., and June Stallings of
Elsinore, CA.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine O.
Erlandson Carter on Sept. 11.
