Asa T. Carr

     CALDWELL - Services for Asa T. Carr, 74, of Caldwell, who died Monday at a Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dakan Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Gerald Crownover of the Assembly of God Church.
     Interment will be at
Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
     Mr. Carr was born on
Oct. 8, 1899, in Arkansas City, Kan., and was reared in the Cherokee area of Oklahoma.  He worked in the oil fields in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana and later owned restaurants in ; a number of cities in the Southwest.  He came to Caldwell in 1956 and worked for Ideal of Idaho, a travel trailer firm, until his death.
     He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are a brother, William Carr, Huntington Beach, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Howard Fountain, Caldwell; and several nieces and nephews.
