Graveside services for Becky Favinger Brizendine, 38, of
Caldwell, who died Thursday, October 23, in a Salt Lake City
hospital following a brief illness, will be held at 2 p.m.
Monday at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Caldwell.
Rev. Steve Fine of the Caldwell Friends Church and Rev.
Gail Graves of the First Southern Baptist Church, Caldwell,
will officiate under the direction of the Caldwell Flahiff
Funeral Chapel. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
She was born Aug. 19, 1948 in Sioux City,
Iowa, to Bert and Doris
Jeffryes Brizendine. She was reared and educated in Lyons,
Neb., and in Caldwell.
She married Kinley Favinger on April 15, 1965 in Payette
and they resided in Caldwell and in Seattle before their
divorce in 1976.
She had worked as cashier at K mart in Nampa prior to
Barber College where she
graduated in 1978. She worked at Dino’s Barber Shop and
DeHair UM Barber Salon in Caldwell and later in Burley. In
1981, she established her own business known as Becky’s
Klippoteque in Caldwell, which she operated until her death.
She is survived by a son, Kinley Favinger Jr. of
Caldwell; a daughter, Anjee Favinger of Caldwell; her mother,
Doris Carson of Holiday Shores, Ariz.; her father, Bert
Brizendine of Lyons, Neb.; a brother, Terry Brizendine of
Sierra Vista, Ariz.; a sister, Bobbie Molvig of Caldwell and
several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in
death by a brother, Tim , in 1967.
Friends may call today from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m., and
Monday from 9 a.m.
until noon at the Caldwell Flahiff Funeral Chapel.
