Beatrice Irene Case, 62, of Caldwell, died Sunday, November 8,
1992, at the Caldwell hospital following a stroke.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, November
13, 1992, at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Rev. K.D.
Cole of the Deer Flat Free Methodist Church will officiate
with interment following at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,
Mrs. Case was born in Notus, Idaho, on January 24,
1930. The family moved to Sunny Slope where she attended
the Marsing schools, graduating in 1948. While in school
she was active in many organizations, including softball,
basketball, drama, Y-teen, and 4-H. She attended
Superior Western Beauty College in 1948 to 1949, receiving her
cosmetology license. Upon grauation she worked for a
beauty shop in Caldwell before proceeding to own a shop in
Marsing. She married Claris Case on May 6, 1949, after a
lighthearted courtship. Afterwards they were both
employed by Falens Fruit Ranch for many years. During
these years she was active in many hobbies with her family;
hunting, fishing, camping and traveling. She was
supportive of her family's many activities by attending Little
League games, band concerts and FFA banquets among others.
When an activity wasn't available she made it available by
becoming involved, including being a Brownie and Girl Scout
troop leader, and a Cub Scout den mother.
Upon the death of her husband in 1989 she was employed
by Symms Fruit Ranch. She became active in Eagles
Auxiliary and Coast Guard Auxilary. Some of her greatest
joys in life were having her family all together and making

daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Steve Swanson of Deary,
ID.; 2 grandsons, Trenton and Keagan Case of Idaho Falls; her
parents, Ernest and Irene Falen of Caldwell, ID.; a brother
and sister-in-law, LeRoy and Geraldine Falen of Caldwell, ID;
a sister, Dorothy Vogt of Nampa; and numerous nieces and

Friends may call at the Dakan Funeral Chapel on
Thursday, November 12, 1992, from 5 to 8 p.m.
