Funeral services for Burton LeRoy ‘Cinnabar’ Clarke, 45, of
313 Central Ada St., Nampa, who died of natural causes Tuesday
at home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Caldwell Free
Methodist Church by the Rev. Kenneth D. Oliver. Interment
will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,
Caldwell
under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
He was born March 22, 1936, in Taylor, Neb., to Oliver
and Leota Dilsaver Clarke. He was reared and educated in Loup
County,
Neb. At the age of 15 he moved
to Idaho. He lived in Madras, Ore., for a number of years
before moving to Parma, where he did farm work. He later did
ranch work near Murphy. He married Patricia Milbourn on March
5, 1971, in Nampa, where he worked for Northwest Agricultural
Cooperative Association from 1974 to 1981. He received a
lifesaving award from NACA in 1980. He was a member of Nampa
Elks Lodge No. 1389, and Teamsters Union Local No. 670.
He is survived by his wife of Nampa; two daughters, Mary
Ann of Nampa and Terri of Boise; a stepdaughter, Deanna
Henderson of Nampa; two stepsons, Donald and Kenneth Milbourn,
both of Nampa; two brothers, Frank of Caldwell and Leonard of
Terrebonne, Ore.; five sisters, Ruth Franek of Ontario, Ore.,
Rosie Sullivan of Parma, Dorothy Cuddeback of Caldwell, Lola
Chamblee of Farmington, N.M., and Pauline Wells of Rufus,
Ore.; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He
was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Memorials may be made to Mountain States Tumor Institute.
Pallbearers will be Darwin Sparks, Jon Burton, Rod Seamans,
Jack Imbler, Russell Cuddeback and Blain Stelly. |
