Billy Black

     Graveside funeral services for Billy Wayne Black, 37, Chowchilla, Calif., formerly of Caldwell, who died of gunshot wounds last Wednesday in Chowchilla, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell, by the Rev. Leo W. Reed of Nampa First Baptist Church, under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
     He was born Oct 12, 1943, in Eagle Nest, N.M.  He moved with his family to Cheyenne, Okla., Nampa and Caldwell, where he was educated.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He later lived in Seattle, where he worked for Boeing Aircraft Co.  He moved to Nampa, where he worked at the Boise Cascade Nampa plant.  He also worked for J.R. Simplot Co. and at General Foods Birdseye Plant.  He moved to Wyoming in 1976 and later to California.
     He is survived by his parents, Paul and Josephine Black of Caldwell; a brother, Paul A. Jr. of Medical Lake, Wash.; a half sister, Eleanor Michaels of Denver; and two nieces and a nephew.
