Barton Anderson

     Services for Barton L. Anderson, 87, of Parma, who died Saturday, Dec. 3, at a Boise hospital of natural causes, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Parma Church of the Nazarene by the Rev. Clyde Dilley of Notus, and Butch Mazza.
     Interment will follow at the Parma Cemetery under the direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel of Parma.
     He was born July 21, 1896, at Pawnee City, Neb., to Jesse D. And Mary E. Snyder Anderson.  He was reared and educated in Nebraska and Kansas.  He served in the Army during World War I.  After his discharge, he married Dora Goracke on Nov. 10, 1920, at Phillips County, Kansas.  They loved in Western Nebraska and later in Kansas before moving to Parma in December of 1949.  He had worked at various jobs in the Parma area before retiring in 1961.  He was a member of the Parma Church  of the Nazarene.
     He is survived by his wife of Parma; one son, Mark Lee Anderson, of Port Fraser, British, Columbia; two daughters, Mary F. Worthington of Benson, Ariz., and Muriel Martin of Parma; one sister, Mary Harmon of Holyoke, Colo.; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
     Friends may call at the Parma Chapel today from 7 to 9 p.m.
     Memorials may be given to the Gideon International in care of the Dakan Funeral Chapeo (sic-Chapel), P.O. Box 1386 Caldwell, Idaho 83606.
