Clara C. Schey Barnosky

   NAMPA -- Clara C. Schey Barnosky, 88, of Nampa, died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 1991, in a Nampa hospital.
     Vigil services will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa, with the Rev. Father Francis Springer, S.M., as celebrant.  Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,
     Mrs. Barnosky was born Sept. 26, 1902, at Nampa, a daughter of Wendelin J. and Clara C. Michel Schey.  She was raised in the Lone Tree community and attended
Lone Tree Grade School.  She married Emil Barnosky on Aug. 8, 1938, in St. Paul's Catholic Church.  They made their home in Emmett, where Mr. Barnosky worked in the sawmill as the head sawer.  They moved to the farm on Star road in 1943, where Clara had since resided.  Emil died April 26, 1981.
     She was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Catholic Church; and a member of the Catholic Women's League.
     Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Arlene and James Baune of Nampa; a brother, George Schey of Kooskia; a granddaughter and her husband, Donna a Keith Eibel of Salem, Ore.; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Mark Baune; three brothers; and five sisters.
     Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Catholic Church; to a favorite charity; or flowers may be sent.

     Friends may call today from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 9 p.m. at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
