Charles Driskell

    Graveside services for Charles "Dean" Driskell, 51, of Caldwell, who died Saturday, Dec. 13, in the Caldwell hospital of natural causes, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilder Cemetery.
    Dale Peterson will officiate, under the direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
        Mr. Driskell, a plant manager for Idaho Concrete Co., was born Feb. 9, 1935, at Richville, Mo., to Charles and Edna Driskell.  In 1944, he moved to Idaho, graduating from Wilder High School in 1955.
    He married Thelma Kirstine Oct. 28, 1956.
    He late married Virginia Mika April 13, 1974, at Caldwell.
    He had been employed by Idaho Concrete since 1963.
    He was a member of the Caldwell Elks Lodge No. 1448.
    He was a sports enthusiast in high school, and was an avid fisherman.
    He is survived by his wife of Caldwell; a son, Michael K. Driskell of Caldwell; a daughter, Deanne Lauree Wight of Caldwell; two stepdaughters, Mary Ellen Mika of Caldwell and Glenda Mika Dailey of Elmhurst, Ill.; his mother of Parma; five sisters, Alberta Hodge and Janice Collins of Notus, Daisy Clinton of Wilder, and Ida Ellen Sloan and Bessie Driskell of Homedale; three brothers, Darel Driskell of Caldwell, John Driskell of Parma and Melvin Driskell of Wilder; his grandfather, John Gentry of Parma; a grandson; two granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his father; his grandmother, Mary Ellen, a stepson, Jonathon Mika; and a nephew.
    Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to a favorite charity, care of Dakan Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 1386, Caldwell 83606.
    Friends may call today from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Caldwell Dakan chapel.
