Graveside services for Clore Estes, 72, of Caldwell who died
July 11 at a Caldwell nursing home of natural causes, will be
conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,
Caldwell,
by Pastor Earl Shaffer of the Oregon Trail Church of God,
Caldwell. Services are under the direction of the Dakan
Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
She was born Oct. 10, 1912 at Farmington,
Ark. to Oliver and
Minnie Shreve Dunlap. She was reared in several southern
states where she had moved with her family. She married Henry
David Estes in 1935 at Kansas City, MO. They made their home
there for a time before moving to Ontario, Calif., where they
most of their married life. Her husband died in 1965. In 1970
she moved to Caldwell to be near her family and had since
resided there.
She is survived by a sister, Beulah White of Caldwell; a
sister-in-law, Alberta Ruffin of Ontario, Calif.; her nephews
and niece, Rich Rex and J.R. White and Carol Lawhorn and
families. She was preceded in death by a brother,
Archie. |
