Graveside funeral services for Charles Henry Fiala, 91, of 404
Horton St., Nampa, who died Thursday, Aug. 4, at a Nampa
hospital will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday at the Hillcrest
Memorial Gardens with Rev. Leo W. Reed, pastor of the Nampa
First Baptist Church, officiating. Services and
interment are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel.
He was born Nov. 9, 1891, at Shawnee, Okla. to Emil and Anna
Fiala. He farmed with his parents for several years.
He later moved to Los Angeles, Calif.
He married Pauline Hunter on Aug. 15, 1926, in San Bernadino,
Calif. They moved to Nampa in 1929 where they farmed.
Mrs. Fiala died on Dec. 28, 1974, and he had resided in Nampa
since. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in
Montebello, Calif., for more than 50 years.
He is survived by one nephew, George S. Filey, of Northridge,
Calif. |
