Cherie K. Beam

    CALDWELL - Services for Cherie K. (Baxter) Beam, 22 of San Diego, Calif., formerly of Caldwell, who died Friday at home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, by the Rev. David Kinman, First United Methodist Church, Middleton. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
    She was born May 22, 1954, in Caldwell, where she was reared and educated. She graduated from Caldwell High school in 1972 and attended Boise State University for two years.
    In September 1974, she joined the U.S. Navy and was stationed at the Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego.
    She married Thomas Beam in Caldwell July 25. 195. They lived in San Diego.
    She attended the Methodist Church and was active in the Campus Life organization.
    Surviving are her husband and a daughter, Hope Lee, both San Diego; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Baxter, Caldwell; a grandfather, William J. Baxter, Caldwell: a brother, Kim Ray, Malmstrum AFB, Great Falls, Mont., a sister, Alison Fay, Caldwell, and two nephews.
    Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church, Middleton. or to a favorite charity.
