Funeral services for Clarence Munroe Buchanan, 81, of Parma
Route 2, who died Monday, Aug. 29, at a Caldwell
nursing home of natural causes, will be conducted at 10:30
a.m. Tuesday, at the Dakan Funeral Chapel,
Parma, with the Rev. Paul
Yadon of the United Pentecostal Church, Parma, officiating.
Interment will follow at the
Parma
Cemetery.
He was born Dec. 25, 1901, at Douglas County, Mo. He
married Orlena Gates May 23, 1923 at Willow Springs Mo., and
the couple moved to Parma in 1950 where they have since
resided.
He is survived by seven daughters; Mrs. Ruth Smith,
Parma; Mrs. Odessa Brown, Cabool, Mo.; Mrs. Fayer Smith,
Parma; Mrs. Mahalia Morris, Vanzant, Mo.; Mrs. Cora Wallin,
Tulelake, Calif.; and Mrs. Mary Winslow, Willow Springs, Mo.;
and Mrs. Ada Bearden of Canby, Calif.; 21 grandchildren and 17
great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents,
his wife, four sisters, one brother, one son, one daughter,
one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call at the chapel in Parma Monday evening
from 6 to 8 p.m. |
