Services for Clara O. Lockwood, 82, of Nampa Route 3, who died
in a Nampa nursing home Monday, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m.
Thursday at the Shepherd Mortuary. The Rev. Richard Keim will
officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Lockwood was born Aug. 1, 1881, at Matfieldgreen,
Kan. She was married to Earl R. Lockwood April 14, 1905, at
Poplar Bluff, Mo.
She and her husband came to Idaho in 1928 from Kansas
and six years ago moved to the Nampa area from Rathdrum. They
lived on a farm in the Bowmont community.
She was a past noble grand of Rebekah Lodge No. 105 of
Melba, and Walters Butte Grange of Melba. She also was a
member of the Congregational Church.
Survivors include her husband, Earl R. Lockwood of
Nampa; two daughters, Mrs. Cecil Ruddick of Nampa and Mrs. Eva
McCrory of Spokane; two sons, Cecil Lockwood of Seattle and
Bert Lockwood of Spokane; a sister, Mrs. Maggie White of
Ontario, Calif.; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren
and one great-great-granddaughter. Two children preceded her
