services for Carrie Betts, 90, of Nampa, who died Saturday,
Jan. 5, 1991, at a Nampa care center, will be conducted at 2
p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at the Nampa Church of the Brethren.
The Rev. Steven McPherson, pastor of the church will
officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial
Gardens, Caldwell. Services are under the direction of
Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Mrs. Betts was born Feb. 27, 1990, at Russell, Kan.,
to Horace and Henrietta White Resley. She grew up and
attended school in Russell. She married George Betts
Oct. 22, 1919, in Russell. They came to Idaho in 1929
and settled in the Lone Tree district. Mr. Betts died
Nov. 20, 1960.
Carrie was an active member of Nampa Valley Grange, World War
I, VFW, Royal Neighbors and a long-standing member of the
