Mrs. Christian
Darling, 75, of Pleasant Ridge, died Sunday evening at her
home. Funeral services have been arranged for Wednesday
afternoon at 2 o'clock at the deer Flat Free Methodist church.
The Rev. H. W. Ogden will officiate and interment will be in
the Pleasant Ridge cemetery.
Mrs. Darling was born December 20, 1859 in Iowa. She came to
Caldwell in 1906 and has been a resident of this city and
Pleasant Ridge since. Surviving are her husband Albert
W. Darling; two sons, Albert W. Darling, Jr., of
Caldwell and Sam of Portland; four daughters, Mrs.
Eunice Marmen of Caldwell, Mrs. Minnie Madison of California,
Mrs. Nora Rudih of Caldwell and Mrs. May Wood of Eugene, Ore.;
18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. |
