Services for Carlos “Charlie” Espinoza, 31, of Parma who died
Jan. 25 in a hit-and-run accident near Parma, will be
conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel,
Father Raul Covarrubias of St. Mary’s Catholic Church,
Caldwell, will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillcrest
Mr. Espinoza was born Oct. 20, 1955 at Wellington,
Texas to Sixto and
Carmen Rivera Espinoza. He moved with his family to Adrian,
Ore. as a child. Later they moved to Nyssa, Ore. They moved to
the Caldwell area in 1978 and moved to the Parma area in 1986.
He was a member of the Catholic Church.
He is survived by a son,
Carlos Espinoza Jr. of Caldwell; a step-son, Lupe Serrano of
Parma; a daughter, Laura Espinoza of Parma; two
step-daughters, Jessica Rivera and Erica Martinez, both of
Parma; four brothers, Manuel and Jose Espinoza, both of
Phoenix, Ariz., and Enrique and Jesus “Jessie” Espinoza, both
of Caldwell; three sisters, Juanita Garcia and Martz Rojas,
both of Caldwell, and Rosa Tapia of Washington state; and
several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Friends may call from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Monday at Flahiff
Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
