D. Cloud passed away at home, Nov. 29, 1993, surrounded by his
family. Delmar was born May 21, 1925, in Hays Springs,
Nebraska, the son of Ray and Ruby Cloud. They came to
Idaho in 1936. He married Doris Switzer, Dec. 10, 1944.
On Dec. 28, 1944, Delmar was inducted into the Army and served
in the U.S. Army of Occupation in Italy in the Signal Corps.
After Delmar returned home, he and Doris farmed in the
Greenleaf area for many years.
Delmar is survived by his wife, Doris; four children
and their spouses, Sheryl and Vance Taylor, Roger and Jannis
Cloud, Martin and Yvonne Cloud and Carolyn and Vern Hyde, all
of Greenleaf; 13 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
Additionally, he is survived by 3 brothers and 3 sisters and
their spouses, Melvin and Donna Cloud and Eileen and Jack Root
of Madras, Oregon; Everett and Charlotte Cloud of Culver,
Oregon; Erwin and Unalee Cloud of Salem, Oregon; Velma and
Albert Fisher of Boise and Mary and Henry Warren of Greenleaf.
Memorials may be made to West Valley Medical Center
Hospice, or to the Greenleaf Friends Academy, Greenleaf,
Idaho. Delmar's family will greet their friends at Dakan
Funeral Chapel in Caldwell from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Dec. 2.
A memorial service will be held at Greenleaf Friends Church at
2:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 1993.
