Services for Deb Clinton, 80, of Caldwell, who died of natural
causes Thursday, Oct. 16, at the Caldwell hospital will be
held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Parma.
Plais Johnson of Parma will officiate. Burial will
follow in the Parma Cemetery.
Mr. Clinton was born Feb. 22, 1906, in Hebron, Mo., to
Columbus and Minnie Turnbull Clinton. He was raised and
educated in Missouri.
He married Arlie Holdt Jan. 27, 1937, in Ava, Mo.
Following their marriage they lived in Missouri where he
farmed and also worked with his brothers in a saw mill.
They moved to Idaho in 1963 and settled close to Fruitland,
then moved to Caldwell in 1981.
He is survived by his wife of Caldwell; one son, Wally
Clinton of Wilder; two grandchildren, Curtis Clinton of Nampa
and Cindy Leis of Boise; one great-granddaughter, Tera Clinton
of Caldwell; two sisters, Cora Collins and Nola Watkins, both
of Parma; six brothers, Elsa Clinton of Parma, Roy Clinton,
Bill Clinton, Charley Clinton and Floyd Clinton, all of Willow
Springs, Mo., and Chester Clinton of Oakhurst, Calif; and
numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and one
