Funeral
services for Donald F. Farlinger J., 53, of 1918 Howard St.,
Boise, who died Friday, in Caldwell, will be conducted at 10
a.m. Tuesday, at the Boone Memorial Church, Caldwell.
Officiating will be Dr. Donald Frank. Interment will
follow at Hillcrest memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
he was born May 1, 1929, in Atlanta, Ga. He was raised
in Tifton, Ga. and moved to Nampa in 1942. He graduated
from Nampa High School in 1946 and joined the U.S. Navy.
He married Gloria B. Welch on Sept. 18, 1946, in Nampa.
From 1948 to 1952 he attended Washington State University.
In 1952 they moved to Caldwell, where he worked for the
Crookham Co. at the time of his death he was vice president of
the company. He was past president of the Caldwell
Lion's Club and a 30-year member of the B.P.O.E. Lodge No.
1448, Caldwell.
He is survived by his wife and his daughter, Pamela S.
Jackson both of Caldwell; his mother, Ruby Farlinger of
Caldwell; two grandsons, and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Catherine
McDonald; and a daughter Sanda Farlinger of Seattle, Wash.
Memorials may be made to Ophthalmology Research No. 2 in care
of the Chapel |
