Scriptural vigil services for Donald G. Bruck, 39, Molalla,
Ore., formerly of Nampa, who died of natural causes Thursday
in an Oregon City, Ore., hospital, will be conducted at p.m.
today in Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa, by the Rev. Merle J.
Fisher, S.M., of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Nampa. Funeral
services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Flahiff
Funeral Chapel, Nampa, by Dr. James O. York of Nampa First
Christian Church. Internment will follow in Hillcrest
Memorial Gardens,
Caldwell.
He was born Aug. 21, 1941, in Caldwell. He was reared
and educated in the Nampa area, attending Lone
Star Elementary School
and graduating from Nampa High School. He married Rosalie
Douthit on Nov. 28, 1964, in Nampa. They lived in Nampa until
moving to Seattle in 1966. In 1976, they moved to the
Portland
area, where he worked as a bus driver for Trailways and later
for Tri-Met Transit of Portland. He was a member of Nampa
First Christian Church and attended St. James Catholic Church
in Molalla. He was a member of the Amalgamated Transit Union.
He is survived by his wife, a son, Kelly, and a daughter,
Shelly, all of Molalla; his parents, Art and Louise Bruck of
Nampa; two brothers, Larry and Jack, both of Meridian; and
numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a
brother.
Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
