Dorothy L. Black

     CALDWELL - Services for Dorothy L. Black, 40,  Caldwell Route 8, who died Sunday in a Caldwell hospital after a long illness, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, by the Rev. Clare Olney of the First Congregational Church, Nampa.
     Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
     She was born on March 1, 1935, in Caldwell, where she attended schools.  She graduated from Caldwell High School in 1953 and later attended business college in Boise.  She had worked for Caxton Printers, Ltd., of Caldwell and Mountain States Telephone Co. of Boise.  She married Gary K. Black on Dec. 1, 1957, in Caldwell, in Caldwell.  They moved to Boise and later returned to Caldwell.
     She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Nampa and the church's young couple group.
     Surviving are her husband, of Caldwell; two sons, Kevin and Monte Black, both of Caldwell; a daughter, Connie Sue Black; her father, Henry Tuckness, Caldwell; two brothers, Earl Tuckness, Caldwell, and Don Tuckness, Nampa; and a sister, Mildred Ray, Caldwell. She was preceded in death by her mother, Louise.
