Donald Erwin

     Graveside services for Donald O. Erwin, 58, Box 152, Marsing, who died Monday, Nov. 15, at his home of natural causes, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell, by the Rev. Lyle Higgins of Nampa under the direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
     He was born May 11, 1924 in Coal Hill
, Pa. He worked for J and L Steel in Oil City, Pa. for 28 years. He moved to Idaho with his family in 1978 and then to Grass Range, Mont. in 1979 where he worked for the N Bar Ranch. He returned to Marsing in August of this year where he has since resided. He married Sylvia Swartzfager on June 24, 1978.
     Survivors include his wife of Marsing; five daughters, Nancy Trumbull of Nampa, Wealthea Sharrar of Parker, Pa., Pamela Erwin of Parker, Pa., Betty Swartzfager of Lewistown, Mont., and Paula Walker of Grand Valley, N.D.; four sons, Dave Erwin of Chicago, James Erwin of Parker, Pa., and Rickey Swartzfager of Franklin, Pa., and John Swartzfager of Marsing; 23 grand-children, four brothers and a sister.
     He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter.
     Friends may call at the chapel from 4 to 9 p.m. today.

     Memorials may be made to the Mountain States Tumor Institute, Boise.
