Donald Andrus

     Services for Donald Russell Andrus, 65, Parma who died Feb.. 28 in a Boise hospital of natural causes will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Roswell, Id., with the Rev. Dean Lanze, assistant pastor of the Sterry Memorial Presbyterian Church, Roswell officiating under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Parma.
     He was born March 28, 1919 in Wisconsin.  In October of 1941 he joined the U.S. Army and served in the European Theater until he was honorably discharged in 1945.
     He married Erva M. Ginapp on Aug. 21, 1942 in Seattle Wash.  In 1961 they moved from San Jose Calif., to Parma where he farmed and taught school retiring in 1974.  He was very active in the Parma Rod and Gun Club.
     He is survived by his wife, Erva Andrus, Parma; one son, Bruce Andres, Calcutta, India; three daughters Mrs. Lydell Suklikar, San Jose, Calif., Mrs. Cheryl Hembree, Ankorage Ala., and Mrs. Genevieve Sharp, Kennewick Wash.; one brother Dean Andurs (sic), Benecia, Calif., two sisters Mrs. Dorothy Coyle, Cass Lake, Moin., and Mrs. Doone Covell, Granite Shoals Texas; ten grandchildren; one nephew and several nieces.
     Viewing hours are today at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Parma.  Private family viewing time will be between 5 to 5:30 p.m.  Friends can visit the chapel from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
