David A. Davis, 95, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, formerly of
Nampa, died Tuesday, June 29, 1993, at a Kellogg, Idaho,
hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m.
Friday, July 2, 1993, at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Rev. Larry Roberts, District Moderator for the Bible
Missionary Church will officiate. Burial will follow in the
Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
David A. Davis was born march 24, 1898, at Stalwart,
Michigan, to David and Elizabeth Davis. He later moved to
Hayward, California. He had been a machinist for the American
National Can Co. in San Leandro, CA, for several years. He
married Ethel Bryant on August 27, 1941, in Hayward, where
they made their home. They moved to Nampa in 1965. Ethel
died on October 10, 1978. He moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1985
where he has since resided.
He was a member of the Bible Missionary Church in Coeur
d'Alene and had been a member of the Church of the Nazarene
while in Hayward and Nampa.
David is survived by 1 daughter and son-in-law,
Dorothea and Rev. Duane Maxey, Coeur d'Alene; and 1 brother,
Roy Davis, Bellevue, Washington.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the
Evangelical Bible Mission for Russia.
Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today from
6 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. To 1 p.m. |
