Services for Doris
Bertha Anderson, 74, of McDermitt, Nev., who died Sunday,
March 8, at home, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Alsip
Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Pastor W.J. Kuryluk of the Nampa Church of God Seventh
Day will officiate, assisted by Elder Ray Benight of the
church. Burial will follow at the Hillcrest Memorial
Gardens, Caldwell.
Mrs. Anderson was born Aug. 13, 1912, at Bassett, Neb.,
to Frank and Bertha Smith McIntosh. She was reared and
educated in Nebraska.
She married Dale Anderson in 1950 in Winnemucca, Nev.
They had made their home in McDermitt for the past 35 years.
She was a member of the Nampa Church of God Seventh Day.
She is survived by her husband of McDermitt; two sons,
Richard Anderson of Nampa and Frank Dowers of Portland, Ore.;
a daughter, Doris Lou Thomas of Nebraska; a brother, Everett
McIntosh of Grants Pass, Ore.; two sisters, Marie Silvers of
Grants Pass and Fern Buck of Greeley, Neb.; 20 grandchildren;
and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, two daughters,
three brothers, two sisters, and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at the Nampa Alsip chapel today until
9 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the Mercy Medical Center
Intensive Care Unit, 1512 12th Ave. Road, Nampa 83651; or
flowers may be sent. |
