Elsie Fehrer |
Elsie Fehrer,
77, of Nampa, died Monday, July 2, 1990, at the Nampa
hospital. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m.
Friday, July 6, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
Elder Gary D. Grimes, a Seventh-day Adventist pastor, will
officiate.
Mrs. Fehrer was born July 6, 1912, at Longmont, Colo., a
daughter of Jacob and Katherine E. Siebenlist Butherus.
She moved with her family to Idaho as a child and attended
schools at Dubois and Burton. She later returned to
Kansas where she married Adam Fehrer Sept. 7, 1932, at Nekona,
Kan. They made their home at LaCross, Kan., until moving
to Boulder, Colo., and later to Nampa in 1937. Elsie was
an outstanding housekeeper and also helped Adam as a
bookkeeper in the shop for Adam's Auto Repair. Mr.
Fehrer died Dec. 26, 1989.
She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Evaine P.
and Barbara Fehrer of Boise, and Lynn and Joyce Fehrer of
Nampa; a daughter and son-in-law, Carole and Jim Scott of
Nampa; two brothers, Wesley Butherus of Homedale and Albert
Butherus of LaCenter, Wash., four sisters, Mollie Heffel and
Boise, Hannah Summitt of Kuna, Lilian Wagner of Parma and
Helen Payne of Caldwell; 10 grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, a brother and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call until 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until
1:30 p.m. Friday at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa, and
may meet at the cemetery for services. |
