NAMPA – Mrs. Elna Helen Pallesen, 70, Nampa, Route 3
died late yesterday afternoon in a local hospital following an
illiness of three years.
She was born Feb. 14, 1893, at Cullom, Ill., she was
reared there, moving to Minnesota in 1908. She was married
Jan. 30, 1918, at Fulda, Minn., to Harvey M. Pallesen. They
lived there until 1948, when they came to Nampa. They had
lived here since.
She was a member of the Nampa Fifth Ward LDS Church.
Surviving are her husband, Harvey, of Nampa; a
daughter, Mrs. James (Helen) Kotter of Nampa; one son, Douglas
H. Pallesen of Nampa; two sisters,, Mrs. Ida Behr of Fulda and
Mrs. Emma Aga of Ruthton, Minn.; one brother, Chas. J. Johnson
of Dawson, Minn. Two sisters and one brother preceded her in
death. She also leaves 10 grandchildren, one of them Kurt
Kotter, is presently serving and LDS mission in Argentina.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tomorrow at the
Fifth Ward LDS Chapel in Nampa with Bishop Atwell J. Parry
officating. Interment will be the LDS section at Hillcrest
under the direction of Alsip Chapel. |
