Graveside services for Ethel Louise Dana, 68 of Nampa,
who died Thursday, Oct. 21, 1993 at the home of her son, will
be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, 1993 at the Hillcrest
Memorial Gardens, Caldwell. President Roger Kotter of the
Nampa Stake, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will
officiate. Services are under the direction of the Alsip
Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Ethel L. Dana was born on September, 1925 in Caldwell,
Idaho to Herbert & Leth Bale Farley. She grew up around
Caldwell during the depression and learned the meaning of hard
work at an early age.
She married Frank E. Williams Sr. in 1945 and remained
married for two years.
She married William E. Campbell on March 1, 1948 in
Winnemucca, Nevada and was married to him for 29 years. Her
last marriage was to Leslie Dana on February 29, 1980 in
Burley, Idaho.
For the past seven years, Ethel worked at Micron
Semiconductor in Boise, where she enjoyed her many co-workers
and was known as “Mom” around the plant.
Ethel is survived by; three sons and daughters-in-law,
Frank & Aimee Williams of Boise, John and Diane Campbell of
Nampa and Darrell and Arlene Campbell of New Plymouth; a
brother and sister-in-law, Herbert E. and Leila Farley of
Klamath Falls, OR; four sisters, Bertha Jean Mason of Burley,
Helen Mattox and her husband, Elwood of Nampa, Vivian Rae
Sorensen of Post Falls, ID and Lillian Joan Davis of
Applegate, CA; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons.
