Funeral services for Edith M. Cameron of Adrian who died
Thursday at a Nampa hospital will vet conducted at 2 p.m.
Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ,
Owyhee Ward, located on Owyhee Avenue south of Nyssa, by
Bishop Vaughn Schulthies. Interment will follow at the Parma
Cemetery under the direction of the Nyssa Lienkaemper Chapel.
She was born Nov. 4, 1901, in Blackfoot, the
daughter of John and Lenora Davis. She moved with her family
at an early age to a farm 40 miles south of Twin Falls where
she was reared and educated. She married John E. Cameron
Sept. 14, 1923, in Twin Falls. they lived in that area until
moving to Adrian, Ore., in 1938. In 1955, they moved to
Wallowa, Ore., Mr. Cameron died in 1957. She moved to Ontario
and had lived in the Treasure Valley since. She was a member
of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by two sons; J. Keith of Wallowa
and Emery E. of Adrian; one daughter; Mrs. Albert (Fern)
Walker of Boise; one sister; Jennie Standlee of Twin Falls; 10
grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by her husband and a daughter.
Friends may call at the chapel in Nyssa this
evening between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. |
