Esther Drummond

    Services for Esther M. Drummond, 68, of 1202 Smith Ave. Ext., Nampa, who died Thursday, March 10 in a Nampa hospital from cancer, will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ron Freeborn, Associate pastor of the Nampa First Church of the Nazarene, officiating.  Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
    She was born on Dec. 2, 1914, at Shelby, Ohio.  She was reared and educated in Ohio.  In 1955 she moved to Nampa to live near her cousin, Mrs. Geneva Bittleston.  She worked at the First Security Bank in Nampa for almost 25 years.  She was the private secretary for the late Vic Budell.
    She was a member of the Snake River Stampeders, a lifetime member of Pet Haven and a member of the Credit Women International.  She had been very active in womens' bowling in Nampa.
    She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Ida Drummond, Nampa; four cousins, Mrs. Geneva Mamau Bittleston, Nampa, Mrs. Alice Jacobs, Bellville, Ohio, Mrs. Grace Schlereth, Shelby, Ohio and William Mumau, Sandusky, Ohio.  She was preceded in death by her father.
    The family suggest memorials to Pet Haven, P.O. Box 481, Nampa 83651 or flowers may be sent.
