Ellen Dunn |
Ellen L.
Dunn, 59, of Caldwell, died Friday, Oct. 20, 1995, at home o
natural causes. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m.
on Tuesday, October 24, at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
Ellen was born Jan. 18, 1936, at Oklahoma City, Okla., a
daughter of L.C. and Ruby Barrett Smith. She was raised
and educated in Southern California. Ellen married
Kenneth Dunn on June 6, 1954, at San Fernando, Cal., where
they lived for nine years, when they moved Saugus, Cal., until
moving to Nampa in 1972. Ellen ad Keith operated Dunn's
Tire Service until 1991.
Ellen enjoyed raising, riding, and showing American Quarter
Horses, she also enjoyed making ceramics.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; two sons, Roy Allen
Dunn, of Brisbane, Cal., and Larry M. Dunn, of Loganville,
Georgia; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Rick Badillo, of
Caldwell; her father L.C. Smith, Sr., of Nampa; a brother and
sister-in-law, Junior and Vivian Smith, of Prather, Cal.; four
grandchildren, Julie Anne Dunn and Amanda, Brian and Jacquie
Bonner. She was preceded in death by her mother.
Memorials may be made to the Idaho Quarter Horse Youth
