Clinton, 80, of Parma, died Monday, February, 1, 1993, at home
of natural causes. Funeral services will be held at 1:30
p.m. Thursday, February,4, 1993, at Dakan Funeral Chapel in
Parma. Pastor Larry Eyman of the Caldwell First
Christian Church will officiate. Interment will follow
at Parma Cemetery.
Elza was born July 10, 1912, in Hebron, Missouri.
He moved to Idaho in 1935, and went to work for Wesley
Cruickshank in February of 1937 where he ranched for 36 years
in the San Hollow area. He retired to his own place in
Parma in 1972 where he continued to farm. He loved
to hunt and fish and spend time with all his children and
grandchildren of whom he was especially fond.
Elza was united in marriage to Annis Freeman, September
19, 1936, in Wilder, Idaho. They had four children,
Louise, Shirley and JoAnn and Larry.
He was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by his
wife, Annis, his children, Louise Bron and her husband Jerry,
Shirley Demond and her husbond, Keith, JoAnn Thompson and her
husband, Elman and Larry Clinton and his wife Payy; his ten
grandchildren, Dan Brown, Rick Brown, and his wife Suzette and
daughter Shannon, Scott Brown, Pam Roberts and her husband Dan
and children Kaitlyn and Jordan, Brian DeMond and his wife,
Connie and daughter, Brianne, Valerie Thompson, Rodney
Thompson and his wife Nicole and son, Joshua, Kristie
Thompson, Myron Clinton and John Clinton; his four brothers
Roy, Charley and Floyd Clinton of Willow Springs, Missouri,
and Chester Clinton of Oakland, California; two sisters Cora
Collins and Nola Watkins of Parma and many more relatives and
He was preceded in death by his parents C.C. and Minnie
Turnbull Clinton; three brothers, Deb Clinton, Lester Clinton
and Bill Clinton and two sisters, Elsa Davis and Lola Clinton.
Friends may call at Dakan Funeral Chapel in Caldwell
from 2 to 8 p.m. today.
