Frank Dorsey

    Services for Frank Allen Dorsey, 69, Caldwell Route 4, who died Feb. 5 of injuries received in an auto accident near Riviera, Ariz., will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Marsing Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Bishop Barry Larsen.  Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Garden, Caldwell, under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    He was born April 22, 1913 at Sunny Slope, the third child of David E. and Lavina Baumgardner Dorsey.  He attended the Sunny Slope grade school and Caldwell High School.  He married Zenna Gee on Dec. 20, 1939, at Burley.  He spent his life farming in the Sunny Slope community, raising fruit, sheep, pigs, row crops and dairy cattle.  He was made an honorary FFA chapter farmer at Vallivue High School in 1967.  He was a member of the Marsing Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
    He is survived by his wife of Caldwell; a daughter, Marolyn Van Wagenen of Denver, Colo.; a son, Thomas E. (Tom) Dorsey of Caldwell; a brother, David G. Dorsey of Caldwell; a sister, Katheryn Pent of Oceanside, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Margaret, and a daughter, JoAnn Dorsey.
