Private burial for Francis G. Carpenter, 84, of
Caldwell, who died Thursday, Oct. 2, at a
Caldwell
nursing home of natural causes, will be Monday at the Wilder
Cemetery, under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel,
Caldwell.
Mrs. Carpenter was born
Aug. 21, 1902, at Gate, Okla., to Otto and Margaret Burrgraf.
She was reared and educated at Gate.
She married Charles E. Carpenter
June 18, 1924, at Buffalo, Okla. In 1935 they moved to the
Fargo community near Wilder where they farmed. They lived in
the Fargo area until Mr. Carpenter died in 1977. In 1978 she
moved to
Caldwell
where she had since resided.
She is survived by two sons, Case Carpenter of Caldwell
and Delbert Carpenter of
Evans, Colo.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and
numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
