Francis Becker

    Francis E. "Frank" Becker, 76, of Nampa, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 1990, at his home of natural causes. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. I7, at Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa.  Pastor Vernon L. Wilcox of the First Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Private interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.  
    Mr. Becker was born July 4, 1913, at Grand Junction, Iowa, the son of Harry and Mabel Becker.  He graduated from North High School, Des Moines, Iowa.  He traveled extensively as a joumeyman electrician, including construction of many U.S. government missile sites and the early warning system in Thule, Greenland.  He moved to Nampa in 1966. Mr. Becker married Ruby Smith Nov. 17, 1977, at Pocatello. She died April 1984.
    Mr. Becker was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
    Survivors include a son, John D. Becker of Minneapolis, Minn.; two stepsons, Fred Smith (formerly of Nampa) and Ray Smith, both of Salt Lake City; a sister, Mildred J. Olson of Oceanside, Calif.; several grandchildren; and a nephew.
