Florence Duncan

    Graveside funeral services for Florence Leone Duncan, 84, of Nampa, who died Sunday, March 4, 1990, at a Nampa retirement center, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 9, at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.  The Rev. James Lester, pastor of the North Nampa Church of the Nazarene will officiate.  Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.  Memorial services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 1990, at the North Nampa Church of the Nazarene, 608 14th Ave. N.
    Mrs. Duncan was born July 20, 1905, at Wessington Springs, S.D. to George and Bergette Train.  She was reared and attended schools in South Dakota.  She married Wallace Burton Duncan June 8, 1925, in Canton, S.D., where they farmed.  In 1937 they moved to Nampa to make their home.  Mr. Duncan died Aug. 16, 1981, and she had resided in Nampa since.
    She was a member of the North Nampa Church of the Nazarene.
    Florence is survived by three daughters, Leone Branstetter, Nampa, Darlyne (Mrs. Bruce) Markus, Nampa, and Naomi (Mrs. Les) Irons, Buckley, Wash.; a son, Johnny LuVern Duncan and his wife Norma, Vancouver, Wash.; a sister, Marcella Guston, Escondido, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and sever great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
    The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the North Nampa Church of the Nazarene.
    Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 0 ;.m. and on Friday from 8 to 11 a.m.
