Ellis Andrews

     Memorial services for Ellis Andrews, 91, of Ontario, who died Monday, April 7, in an Ontario nursing home, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Ontario.
     The Rev. John Baker will officiate.  Private family burial services were held earlier at the Parma Cemetery, Parma, under the direction of the Lienkaemper Funeral Chapel, Ontario.
     Mr. Andrews was born July 4, 1894, in Annandale, Minn., to Schyler and Margaret Kuhnley Andrews.  He was reared and educated in Minnesota and Wisconsin before moving to Ontario in 1911.
     He married Leona Van Buskirk Aug. 21, 1919, at Faulk Store, Idaho.  He worked for Andrews Seed Co. for 27 years and then for Beal Seed Co., both full- and part-time until his retirement in 1969.  He had resided in Ontario since that time.
     He had been a member of the First Baptist Church in Ontario since 1911.
     He is survived by his wife of Ontario; three sons, Edward and Don Andrews of Ontario and Al Andrews of Portland; two daughters, Florence Conant of Nampa and Margaret Deal, of Salt Lake City, Utah; a sister, Lila Hoover of Parma; 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
     He was preceded in death by a daughter and two brothers.
