Glenn Bennett

    Funeral services for Glenn E. Bennett, 63, of Adrian, Ore., who died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 1991, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale.  The Rev. John W. Pickrell of the First  Presbyterian church, Homedale, will officiate with rites by the Wilder Odd Fellows Lodge.  Private interment will follow at the Wilder Cemetery.
    Mr. Bennett was born May 23, 1927, at Maple Park, Mo., a son of John and Ruth Bailey Bennett.  He moved with his family as a child to Venice, Calif., where he was reared and educated.  He served with the Merchant Marines during World War II and with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.  Following his military service he worked as a mechanic for the United Airlines.  He married Juanita Stayner Dec. 11, 1959, at Las Vegas, Nev.  The couple resided in Los Angeles until moving to Adrian in 1972 where they owned and operated the Stateline Grocery.  Glenn's favorite hobby was reading and he very much enjoyed a good conversation.
    He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge No. 1448 of Caldwell; and the American Legion Post No. 32 of Homedale.
    He is survived by his wife, Juanita of Adrian; two brothers, Donald of Bakersfield, Calif., and Herbert of Adrian; a sister, Lorraine Taylor of Palm Desert, Calif.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
    He was preceded in death by his parents.
