George E. Murphy

     Services for George E. Murphy, 42, a native of Middleton and a construction worker who died in down town Reno, Nev., Saturday of a heart attack, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel.  The Rev. Tom Starr of the Middleton Baptist Church will officiate.  Interment will be in Middleton.
     Mr. Murphy was born May 7, 1917, in Middleton and was reared there where he attended school.  He was a veteran of World War II.
     Survivors include a son, Jimmie Murphy, Caldwell; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Murphy, Middleton; three brothers, Eugene, Marsing, Robert, Boise, and Ivan Murphy, Blain, Wash.; three sisters, Eleanor Tyson, Oroville, Calif., Ruth Burnette, Payette and Virginia Kimbro, Middleton.
