Rosary for Glen Thomas Fergusson Jr., 58, of Nampa, who died
Friday, Jan. 16, in a San Bernardino, Calif., hospital of
natural causes, will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the
Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m.
Thursday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa, with the Rev.
George Fahey, S.M., celebrating. Burial will follow at
Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
Mr. Fergusson was born Aug. 24, 1928 at Powell, Wyo., to Glen
T. and Mary Ethel Dolan Fergusson. He was reared and
educated at Cody, Wyo., and Billings, Mont.
He married Elizabeth "Beth" Altmaier June 21, 1949, at
Billings.
He came to the Boise Valley in 1954 as a theater manager for
Fox Intermountain Theaters, managing the Majestic and Adelaide
theaters in Nampa until 1957, when he became an underwriter
for Standard Insurance of Oregon.
In 1971, he entered the advertising business. He
established the firm Glen T. Fergusson and Associates in 1980
and gave motivation seminars throughout the Western United
States.
Before his career took him on the road, he was active in Boy
and Girl Scouts. He was a past president of the Nampa
Exchange Club and a member of Nampa Lodge No. 1389, BPOE.
He was a member of the St. Paul's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of Nampa; five sons, Glen T. III,
Jerald L., James M. and Andrew J. Fergusson, all of Nampa, and
Richard J. Fergusson of Mesa, Ariz.; five daughters, Elizabeth
"Betsy" and Carol Fergusson, both of Nampa, Deborah (Mrs.
Robert) Staats of Moses Lake, Wash., Chriselle (Mrs. Daniel)
Waters of Madrid, Spain, and Laura (Mrs. Jeff) Grundman of
Chicago, Ill.; two brothers, Donald L. Fergusson of New York,
N.Y., and Ronald L. Fergusson of Salt Lake City, Utah; 11
grandchildren, including Joshua and Jacob Fergusson of Nampa;
and several nieces and nephews.
